Hello, and welcome to my personal information page. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Florida. My early years were spent in Jacksonville where I attended Bishop Kenny High School. After high school I made the great leap to college at Mercer University in the small city of Macon, GA. I graduated from Mercer University in 1997 with a B.A. in psychology and communications. After graduation I moved to Palm Beach where I inevitably struggled over several career choices. In the summer of 1998, I was hired to write a sports column for a local lifestyles magazine (Clematis Magazine). After getting a handful of articles published, I decided to go back to school to hone my skills in journalism and communications.
I have been a Gator fan since I was able to talk, so the University of Florida seemed like the best place for me. Since I have been at Florida I have had the opportunity to work at The Gator Times as a beat writer covering the men's basketball team.
My plans after graduation are to get a job in either sports marketing or sports reporting - which ever pays more.
