Major Interests of Hanjun Ko

In this page, I would like to let you know what my interests are. This section includes some information about my favorite football team, my favorite movie, and my favorite activity.

My Favorite Team

[Dallas Cowboys] Ever since I began to watch football in the 70s (when Terry Bradshaw wasn't even thinking about a broadcasting job), I have been a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Actually, it was my father who taught me how to watch football while he cheered for the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, I picked the Cowboys as my favorite team simply because I liked the big star on their helmet. Frankly, the Cowboys was one of the main reasons I went to the University of Texas at Austin to get my Master's Degree. Although, currently, their performances are not as good as what they used to be, I believe they will be once again "America's Team" in the near future.

My Favorite Movie

I enjoy watching action movies and Korean movies, but it is very difficult at the moment to rent any Korean movies here in Gainesville. Among my favorites, I would pick " A Better Tomorrow 2" (1987) as my all-time favorite.
Maybe most of you are not familiar with this movie since it is one of John Woo's earliest movies made when he was still in Hong Kong. Nonetheless, this film marked the true emergence of Woo's balletic action style, an aesthetic he continued to hone in films like " Mission Impossible 2," which was one of the highest-grossing movies in 2000.
For your information, in the Quentin Tarantino written film, " True Romance" (1993), there is a scene in which two main characters (Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette) watch this movie on TV.
