Without a doubt, these three Florida State Parks are excellent:

Ft. Clinch State Park, in Fernandina Beach, is unique because it is one of the few state parks that offers a Beach Camp Area. In addition, park personnel dressed in period costumes conduct nighttime tours through Ft. Clinch, a Civil War fort that housed both Union and Confederate troops.
John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park was the first underwater state park in the United States. Snorkeling trips run from the park to the reefs and you can choose to motor out on a speed boat, or on a trimaran for a more leisurely ride. The campsites are small and lack privacy, but you won't care!
Anastasia State Park is my favorite of the three parks listed on this page, because it is so easy to enjoy. In less than three hours I can be set up in a great site, and off to the beach. I also never tire of walking through
St. Augustine and eating at the Spanish Bakery.
