When my sister graduated from high school, she picked that we would go to Hawaii. It was goodbye Florida and ALOHA Oahu. We stayed in Waikiki, about a block from the beach. One of my favorite restaurants was around the corner. You bought the chicken, beef or fish and then you got to grill it right by your table. All of the restaurants were great because there was fresh seafood, which I love. We hiked Diamond Head, the dormant volcano. We also went snorkeling in Hanauma Bay, which is filled with colorful coral and fish. We climbed for four hours to some gorgeous waterfalls and went swimming. On the North Shore, we went to Pipeline beach and Waimea beach and falls.
Some of the usual tourist spots included a authentic luau and a visit to Pearl Harbor. My sister liked it so much, she moved there.
