Places I've Been
In the summer after seventh grade, I traveled by boat to Grand Cayman in the Carribbean Sea. There, I swam with stingrays. Don't worry, they were tame. The water was the bluest I've ever seen. That was an exciting trip.
On the same trip, I also went to Jamaica. There, I climbed Dunn's River Falls, a 900-plus foot trip. I lost my clip-on sunglasses in the flowing water and almost lost a sandal, but it was still fun.
Believe it or not, Atlanta is a big accomplishment for me. I've lived my whole life in South Florida, and during those 19 years I never crossed the state border by car. This past December I did for the SEC Championship game, and I went to the Georgia Dome, home to the NFL's Atlanta Falcons.
I went to Cozumel in the summer of 2004. I got there on a cruise ship. My family and I spent the day on a beach there. Later, the family haggled with local merchants and bought souvenirs to bring back to our house. I got a nice chess set.
