I couldn't imagine a life without music. Music is a very large part of my life. Whether I'm playing guitar and singing, listening to my ipod or just humming a song on the way to class, it is always a part of my daily life. I love all different types of music from all around the world and I'm always looking to add to my collection.

I first began to take serious interest in photography after my parents bought me a simple point and shoot digital camera for Christmas my sophomore year of high school. We ended up spending that Christmas in Puerto Rico and I shot some photos of the local beaches in my mother's home town of Aguadilla. I entered the photos into the school art contest and I won first place. That was when I realized that it was something I enjoyed and something that I had an eye for.

The Outdoors

It was Ralph Waldo Emerson who said, "Nature is loved by what is best in us," and I could not agree with him more. Whenever I am out in nature, whether it be when I'm surfing, snorkeling, hiking or just sitting on a bench, I feel a sense of peace that just doesn't exist indoors. I not only enjoy it, but also try to do my part to preserve it for generations to come.

Everyone enjoys eating, but I enjoy growing food, cooking and then eating the results. I love all types of food and find it fascinating to see how different cultures can be defined by the flavors of their foods. I'm always looking for new recipes to try and new flavors to inspire a creation of my own.
