So how did I become the person I am today? Well, there are many different things that have shaped me throughout my life. Here I'll outline what those are, in a sense showing you the pieces that make up the puzzle of Paige Parrinelli.
Family Life: My family has played a huge role in my life. My mother, father and grandmother have all been valuable sources of encouragement, helping me to follow my dreams even in the worst of times.
I also have a younger brother, Nicholas, He drives me crazy, but I still love him. These days I mostly get to see him when he's running at a track meet. Back at home he's a big cross country star.
Student Life: I'm a second generation Gator and have been in love with UF ever since I started attending back in fall of 2010. As one of the best journalism schools in the country I feel that my skills as a journalist, and as a writer in general, have grown tremendously since I started attending.
Besides being a journalism major, I'm also a sustainability studies minor. I've always been interested in the environment, and through my minor I've been able to learn about how natural ecosystems function as well as the different philosophies behind the sustainable/green movement. One of my biggest dreams is to write extensively about sustainable issues and clear up some of the misconceptions people have about sustainability.
Travels: My father is a pilot and that has given me the opportunity to travel all around the world. Some of my favorite locations have been London and the top of Mt. Fuji in Japan. I've also traveled extensively within the U.S. I've visited many famous cities such as New York, San Francisco and Chicago. In addition, I've visited many national parks and campsites, however, one of my favorite locations in the U.S. is, without a doubt, Disney World.
