School Involvement

Along with the Journalism and Communications Ambassadors, I am also a University of Florida Campus Diplomat. This organization has allowed me to make connections that will last a lifetime. Because of this organization, I am proud to say that I have not only grown as an individual, but my skills and abilities to work with a group have excelled. I could not be more proud to be a part of an organization.

Within this organization, I have participated in programs such as UF Family Weekend, Welcome to the Sunshine State (a program for "out-of-stater Gators") and Welcome to the Gator Nation (a program for transferring students).

Because of my interest in law, I have also actively participated in the Gator chapter of NAACP, and I am a new member of the University of Florida's undergraduate chapter of the Black Law Students Association. Through these participating in these groups, I hope to gain a greater understanding of not only how the law works, but I it works for minorities. These organizations will provide me with some of the tools I need to advance to law school and help make a difference.
