My favorite thing to do is talk to other people. I love to talk to my mom, my best friends and sources for my stories. I want to know what they are doing and why they decided that. I am also much closer to my family than I ever realized. I talk to my mom every day, usually two or three times. I just love to tell her about my life and hear about hers - she shares the common trait of loving to talk to people, so we always have plenty to talk about between her friends and mine. One of my aunts lives here in Gainesville, and I meet for lunch with her usually once a week. She likes to joke that she is living vicariously through me - she likes to refer to my life like it is the soap opera "As Gainesville Turns." I have seven grandparents, and I am very close to them all. When I come home for the weekend, I usually see at least half of them.

My favorite movies are The Notebook and Gone With the Wind. Until I find a guy that loves me that much, I have no reason to get married, and I watch those movies frequently to remind me of such. My favorite author is Danielle Steel. I know her romance novels are corny, and I have read many books that are much more in-depth and "scholarly", but I still love her best. My favorite book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. It teaches me that giving to my friends is what makes the world go 'round. My favorite television show is Boy Meets World. Without TGIF as a child, my life would not have been complete.

My favorite thing about myself is the brown speck I have in the lower corner of my left eye. It makes my eyes unique and it is something that only people who really care about me notice. I also love to collect odd things that feature my favorite characters. For instance, I currently own a Winnie-the-Pooh toaster that sings, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toothbrush and a Spiderman lounge chair. I discovered only this past summer that I adore traveling and everything that comes with it, especially flying. I went to Cambridge University and came back with the most wonderful group of friends anyone could ever find. They know me and my flaws and love me for them anyway, and I feel the same with them.
