Here is a little interview a classmate conducted with me.
Q: Why did you choose your major?
A: I love to write and I've always been really interested in current events and politics. I want my writing to be a help to the populace, to be informative.
Q: What job do you think you would get right out of college?
A: Well, I'm leaning towards magazine writing, but somehow I think I'll end up as a gopher or fact checker for a local newspaper or magazine.
Q: What would your dream job be, for your major or not?
A: My dream job would be to be a famous novelist. Or the editor-in-chief of a big newspaper or magazine.
Q: How large is your family, and where do they live?
A: It's just my parents, my younger brother and me in Florida. I have grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in Pennsylvania. I also have an uncle in Miami and one near Washington, D.C.
Q: What do you hope to get out of making your personal Web site?
A: I just want to learn how it's all done. I think it would be greatly beneficial to my future career to learn the basics of (X)HTML, plus I think it would be pretty cool to be able to say, "Hey, I can make my own Web site!"
