Left Feet

"Poetry is an orphan of silence. The words never quite equal the experience
behind them." -Charles Simic

Poetry tickles my soul. It creates the sensation of feathers across the skin or fingertips gently sweeping the soles of feet. The great thing about poetry is you need not be ticklish to transcend the boundaries of this world into the world of words. You need only open your mind and let the similes and metaphors sink in.
