All about me...

Welcome to my first webpage. I'm a first semester graduate student majoring in mass communications at the University of Florida. I was born in West Palm Beach, Fla., at the same hospital where my mother was born 39 years before. I grew up in Palm Beach Gardens, majored in magazine journalism at the University of Florida and graduated in May 2003.

After graduation, I worked dually at a health-food store and aftercare program, and finally landed a job as a seasonal copy-editor at the Palm Beach Post. While there, I learned a lot about writing, editing and graphic design, and started writing my own column called "Home Library." The column still runs every other Sunday in the Residences section of the paper. When the season was over, I decided to re-enter the world of academia. I came back to UF for my master's degree and 'live it up' for another year before moving on to a big city like New York or Washington, D.C.

Fact: I do not like football.
Fact: I like holistic remedies and organic foods.
Fact: I'm an only child.
