Boxx's Benediction

If you would like to read the Bible online or check another translation click here. These scriptures are from the Zondervan NIV.

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in the later days you will return to the Lord your God and obey him. For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which he confirmed to them by oath. Deut 4:30-31

There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, "Destroy him!" So Israel will live in safety alone; Jacob's spring is secure in a land of grain and new wine, where heavens drop dew. Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you? A people saved by the Lord? He is your sheild and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will trample down their high places. Deut 33:26-29

Then Jesus siad to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it." Mat 16:24-25

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5

Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renwing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. Rom 12:2

"My Grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Cor 12:9-10

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever greivances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Col 3:12-13

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's might hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 2 Peter 5:6-7
