They're better . . . for everyone!

I became a vegetarian in 1999, and have determined that the benefits are endless. Sometimes, this can be a hassle when you consider my restaurant menu options. One would be surprised how creative you can become- ordering pasta without the meat, creating a meal out of side items, etc. Right when I want to become discouraged, I remember my cause! I elect to live this lifestyle primarily in respect for animal rights, but it has always been a wise choice for the health-conscious. Cleaner arteries, lower calories, less cholesterol- just keep an eye on your protein intake! Check out the vegetarian food pyramid to make sure you do it right. There are several easy-to-make, delicious meals that do not involve harming animals!
