Camelia the Artist
Take a look at some of my graphic creations:
Creativity is a strong stimulus for me. I remember taking my first
painting lessons when I was five. At that time I was working with the
basics: water and paint color. In high school, I moved on to
creating greeting and Valentine cards (unfortunately, although my art work was "highly appreciated", I didn't get any dates).
Now, I use a mouse and a computer, but I still have fun designing and creating fliers, newsletters and other publications.
Working as an editor for the University of Florida Division of Housing has given me the opportunity to learn Adobe PageMaker and
improve my Adobe Photoshop skills. In the future, I plan on taking some graphic design classes and focus on web publishing.
The Buzz Maker
Here is the October issue of The Buzz Maker (Adobe PDF document), a monthly electronic newsletter published by The Entrepreneur's Club
at University of Florida.
I started working with the University of Florida Division of Housing in June of 2002. As soon as I saw the ad for the editor position, I knew that
I would love the job. I have a great boss and the people in the office are like my family: they care and look after me. Plus, I get to publish a newsletter that serves
more than 1,000 residents.
