Since I'm very busy with school here at the University of Florida, I don't often have much time to create lavish meals for myself. However, I do enjoy trying new recipes whenever I can. I try to pick out easy ones from my cookbooks because I don't think I have the patience for recipes with thousands of ingredients. Cooking is a new hobby I've picked up since coming to college. I really miss my parents' cooking and it didn't take long for me to tire of Easy Mac and Chef Boyardee. Here are a few easy recipes I enjoy because they are quick and you don't have to be a gourmet chef to make them. Feel free to print them out.

Ranch Chicken

Spinach Lasagne

Nana's baked macaroni and cheese

Parmesan-Dijon Chicken

Au Gratin Potatoes

Music has always been a huge part of my life. I associate songs to almost everything that's happened to me. I played the violin for about nine years so I love all kinds of classical music. It helps me relax sometimes. Some of my favorite composers are Rachmaninoff, Bizet, Brahms, Tchaikovsky and many others. Below are some of the musicians I'm really into right now. A lot of them are not very well-known to the general population, which is why I like them so much. I can't stand it when songs get picked up by the radio and are overplayed. All of these musicians also have really cool websites too.
Buena Vista Social Club

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Elliott Smith

Ben Folds

Bob Dylan

Tom Petty

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of my favorite bands, and I was lucky to have the opportunity to meet them at a concert in Orlando. A friend of mine knew Flea's dad Walter, so we went to the concert with Walter and his family. He was able to get us backstage passes and we met the band and saw their dressing room. The concert was amazing and ever since, I've been hooked on their music.
Ben Harper

Damien Jurado

Diana Krall

Harry Connick Jr.

Pearl Jam

Jack Johnson
