During Labor Day weekend, my husband and I went to Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon.
We had a great time--the weather was sunny, sunny and more sunny.
Share our trip with us by clicking on each day to learn what we did. Have fun!

Day 1 (Seattle, WA)
The first day we checked out Alki Beach, which is in West Seattle.
The views from this place are spectacular.
Learn where we ate, stayed and toured in Alki Beach and Downtown Seattle.

Day 2 (Seattle, WA)
One of the places we visited on Day 2 was Gasworks Park and Lake Union.
There are a ton of houseboats here--people really love the water here.
We also checked out Bumbershoot, a huge four-day festival.

Day 3 (Portland, OR)
After driving several hours on I-5, we crossed the bridge into Portland.
The hotel we stayed in was a historical house, and unknown to us, in the gay district.

Day 4 (Portland, OR)
During the last day of our trip, we went to the Rose Garden.
We also toured neighborhoods and was astounded to learn the average cost of a three bedroom house is $200,000.
