"If man could be crossed with the cat, it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat."
-Mark Twain

I'll admit, I'm one of those cat people. Of course, you would never know if you walked into my home. Between myself and my roommates we have three cats and throughout my room you'll see black and white pictures of cats, a cat calendar and of course pictures of my own cats. Not to mention the fact that I volunteer at the Alachua County Humane Society, spending time with their 20-30 cats every week. Oh, and then there's my two cats back home with parents and the occasional stray cat that shows up.

So as you can see, cats are a big part of my life, which is why I decided to discuss them and not myself as most people do for their home page.

My intention is for you, the reader, to know what to expect before and after you adopt a cat. In addition, you'll learn some basic facts, check out some cute pictures and hopefully learn to appreciate cats more.
