We arrived in Amsterdam at five o'clock in the morning after a seven-hour plane ride from Detroit. Needless to say, the group was extremely tired. However, once we got to the hotel, we were given only an hour to wash-up and rest-up before the long day.
After some free time in the city, we went to Anne Frank's house. This is me in front of the house she lived in during World War II. The house was an awesome place to visit because of what it represents in history. They also had guidebooks in at least six different languages.
This is the church steeple of one of the oldest churches in Amsterdam. I took the picture while we were waiting in line to see Anne Frank's house. It was right down the street from the house.
