Author Bio

If Florida has had a disappointing season under Steve Spurrier then 1999 is it. The Gators started the season in the top five (a common thing in the Spurrier era), but with a one point, home, overtime loss, to Alabama the season took a turn for the worst. Florida did finish with nine wins, a succesful season at most universities, but they also lost their last three games. For the first time in the Spurrier era the Gators lost three straight games.
