Author Bio

In 1995 Florida seemed to have everything going their way. The Gators were simply outscoring every team they played. The only people with more "air power" than Florida was the U.S. Air Force. The Gators won all of their games by decisive margins, and finished the regular season undefeated with a 11-0 record. Florida continued to impress against a stingy Arkansas defense in the SEC Championship game, where they claimed their third straight Southeastern Conference Title. Florida was now 12-0 and headed to play Nebraska for the National Championship on January 2nd. Many people around the nation believed Florida could run right past the Corn Huskers. Unfortunately the Florida air attack was grounded and Nebraska punished the Gators 62-24.
