Two co-ed intramural teams, the Dot-Commers and Golden Key were among the many teams that advanced to the play-offs, which begin next week.
The co-ed volleyball team, the Dot-commers went 4-0 in its regular season, with no matches going past two games.
"I had a good feeling we would make it to the play-offs without a loss,"said team member Nicole Janok.
Janok said the team hasn't played together for long, but each player has a lot of volleyball experience. Janok and team captain Albert Tiera have been playing since middle school.
The team is excited about the play-offs and hopes to compete for the coveted intramural t-shirt.
Another team Janok plays for, the Golden Key co-ed football team, will also advance to the finals. Although they are winless, the team has high hopes for winning.
"We have seen a lot of improvement since the first game," Janok said.
" I think we are going to get it together for the play-offs."
The team has been practicing once or twice a week, trying to improve. Janok said the main problem they face is not having the all of the players at practice.
When we get to the game, there are always more people there than at practice," she said."We end up throwing out plays we made, and just winging it!" The team practices Monday and hopes everyone will show.
