What can I say? I'm the life of the party. That's me standing on my hands before I went to Gator Growl one year, but I can't remember which year it was. No occifer I'm not drunk.
OK, enough with the funny business, lets get down to brass tax, shall we. This is my Bio page and it was a damn clever title because there is gonna be some information about me.
I was born in San Francisco, CA.(big up Cali) on June 4, 1980 to some smelly hippie parents. A short time after, I moved to my home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and stayed in the area for the next 16 years.
My parents still live there, but they have lost the hippie spirit and are now corporate sell-outs just like everyone else.
I'm just joking. My folks are cool people. My dad's a marine carpenter and my mom is a first grade teacher(they are now divorced).
I went to high school in Coral Springs, FL, where I majored in slacking for the better part of four years. My high school football team didn't win one game my senior year(go colts). I played tennis and volleyball in high school and I like to surf.
I am also really into music. I have been playing the bass guitar for about five years now. Some of my favorie bands are Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soul Coughing, The Roots and too many other to name. Now we all know why everyone wants to be a rock star. Groupies kick ass.
Then after four illustrious years at CSHS I came to UF and all it's glory. I just switched into journalism this semester.
I was an engineering major for three years(please hold back gasps of horror), but I decided to switch because I really hated it. Hey it's OK I'll just make $30,000 less a year. I was looking into becoming a buddhist anyway. Plus, I'm really getting used to eating Ramen noodles all the time.
I went to Woodstock '99 in New York two summers ago. I only took four pictures the whole time. Can you believe that? I guess all I'll have is my memories, which might not be so good after I killed so many brain cells.
I had a really fun time seeing all the bands, but the condtions sucked. The riots were something that had to be done. If you want to get the low-down on the riots and why it happened check out my rant. Enter with Caution. It is not for the faint of heart. Woodstock Rant
