Leslie Adams is a journalism student at the University of Florida. After graduation in May, she plans to attend law school. Adams spent last semester studying entertainment and copyright law at Bond University in Queensland, Australia. She lived on the Gold Coast in a city called Surfer's Paradise -- the name is a perfect description. She traveled throughout Australia visiting Cairns, Sydney, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Frasier Island and Tangalooma Island. On the way back to the United States, Adams stopped in Fiji. She visited her friend's family and met many Fijians who showed her around the island and shared their culture. In her spare time, when she's not studying for her classes, she enjoys doing community service. This semester, Adams is taking a course in online journalism.
