| Academics
Lambda Theta Alpha is officially incorporated as an academic sorority. We stress leadership through academics amongst our members. We recognize that as college students we need to provide one another with a support system so that we may continue to succeed in school. Each chapter has an academic chair that facilates programs to help her sisters. Lambda Theta Alpha frequently hosts educational forums and workshops at our schools. We organize workshops on issues ranging from diversity & racism, breast cancer awareness, self-defense, amongst other topics. In addition many of our chapters work alongside their campuses to sponsor plays and speakers such as the play "Yo Soy Latina" or speaker David Lamb. Listed below are a sample of awards we have won on a national and local level for our academic efforts.
