I am the oldest of my parents' three children. My younger brother, Craig, is 17, and my younger sister, Melissa, is 14.
I am originally from Kissimmee, Fla.
In high school, I swam and played water polo. I met Jose, my boyfriend of over two years, playing water polo on my county's club team.
I chose journalism as a major because I want to know everything. It gives me the excuse to ask questions it would be rude to ask otherwise.
I love reading, writing, watching movies, listening to music, going to concerts, surfing the web--essentially, consuming and creating media of all types. I find that I have the most fun, though, when I can share things I've read, written, seen, created or watched with my friends and family.
I spend most of my free time with my boyfriend, family and good friends. They really enrich my life and inspire me. I feel so lucky to have such an excellent support system.
