Hobbies.... hmmmmm...
Back in the day, when time was abundant, I had hobbies. My favorite thing to do was to watch my
children do whatever they were doing at the moment. My daughter turned into a great soccer player and my
sons were All-American wrestlers. So, I spent most of my free time on soccer sidelines and in gyms for nearly
twenty years. So, if you really want, we can talk about "real" football and hat tricks or a great blast double
leg takedown in an exciting freestyle wrestling match.
In addition to active sports parenthood, I enjoy gardening. However, as the owner of three large and rambunctious labrador retrievers I have come to appreciate lunar landscapes (yes, my dogs dig). Perhaps some day, as they age, I'll get grass back... maybe even about the same time I'm done with my PhD?
