ABOUT CHARLES
An Ocala, Fla. native, I moved to Gainesville in 2006 just befrore completing my Associate of Arts degree from Central Florida Community College. I started my University of Florida career in January 2007.
Not long after classes began, I hit the ground running by getting experience at the Independent Florida Alligator as a contributing photographer. I promoted to a staff photographer in the summer and bummped again to photo editor in the fall. I then became a photo intern at the Gainesville Sun in January.
My other interests include meteorology, radio communications - I am a licensed amateur radio operator, politics and government, and technology.
I plan on graduating either in the spring or summer of 2009 with a bachelors degrees in journalism and geography. I hope to either get a job at a newspaper, become a freelancer or go to graduate school.
