This fateful night happened by coincidence.
I grew up on the East Coast of Florida, near Stuart, and hadn't gone home from school in almost a year.
I grew up skateboarding within a posse of freinds, but have lost touch with most and the others quit skating when they got a job.
I was at a retraunt with a few high school friends, drinking a bit and filling my belly, when I saw one of the forgotten friends.
He told me he was on his way to skate a new spot on a dilapidated bridge and that I should come along and skate for old-times sake.
So I grabbed my board and camera gear and went up the road. After skating hours into the night, I managed to get multiple publishable photos, such as this one, which ran in FTK Magazine.
It's weird how instances like these work out.
