I am the baby in my family. I have an older brother and sister.
My sister, Kerry, who is two years older than I, is a business consultant. She is married to Kirk and they have three children: Karl, Kyle, and Kaeli-Ann. They call themselves the “K-krew.”
My brother, Huntley, is an attorney. He and his wife, Sandra, have three children: Rebekah, Gabrielle and Jordan, 12.

I have a good relationship with my sister and brother. I have also had the benefit of building relationships with their individual families. In all of this I am the spinster aunt - but I'm also, usually, the really cool aunt who my nieces and nephews believe they can get away with anything with.
In 1989 I held my first niece in my arms. Rebekah was born two days after my 21st birthday. Since that, five more children have been born into my family. Over the years I have had the opportunity to watch my nieces and nephews - all six of them – develop and grow. The amazing thing is that each has such a unique personality and wonderful ideas and attitudes that endear them to me on a daily basis. I feel proud that I can call them my family.
