The trip to Gasparee from the mainland is made by boat. My family and I were fortunate to stay in a rented house on a small inlet and promontory on Gasparee’s coast. There was no beach, but there was space off the dock for banana boat rides and for swimming off the jetty. The water was clear enough to see rocks, fish, and a sea ray.
