"There's a special kind of freedom sisters enjoy. Freedom to share innermost thoughts, to ask a favor, to show their true feelings. The freedom to simply be themselves."

Chi Omega was founded in 1895 at the University of Arkansas. Since then it has grown to become the nation's largest sorority.
I don't think I would've made it in college if it wasn't for Chi Omega. It's amazing how much these women have had an
impact on me. Through the good, the bad and the ugly- I have made so many memories, and I look forward to all memories
yet to come.
Chi Omega's national philanthropy is the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Every year, we have a sand volleyball tournament to raise
money for Make-A-Wish. This year I helped coach Sigma Chi at the tournament. Although we didn't win (and it was
incredibly hot) it was still really fun.
Some of the best times I have had being in Chi Omega are getting ready for the socials and date functions. It is so much fun going to Wal-Mart
with a group of six girls and picking out fun things to wear. It's a wonder what you can do with one yard of fabric! I think the best costume I've created was the
Statue of Liberty one for our Guess Who social with Pike. I made the torch out of a paper towel roll and a plastic cup, the hairpiece out
of a headband and cardboard triangles and the actual costume out of really cheap fabric.
My Chi Omega family (consisting of my little, Whitney, my big sister, Sarah, and my grand big sister, Chris)
is very special to me. It's a tradition for little sisters to make their bigs a paddle for Christmas. I think my
paddle was the coolest one there-she designed it to look like my future residence, New York City!
