| My name is Jennifer Schaefer and I am a senior at the University of Florida. My major is journalism with an emphasis on magazines.
This semester has been pretty tough. I have been a copy editor at the Independent Florida Alligator since May 2002, and just recently I became the photography editor for the Orange and Blue magazine.
The Orange and Blue magazine is produced by students in Ted Spiker's JOU 4445C course.
Aside from my work, I have a few other interests. I enjoy swimming, traveling and my two dachshunds, Heidi and Sadie.
I am from Panama City, Fla. Although Panama City is a great town, I don't think it offers me enough opportunities to one day excel in my career.
