Spring Break 2002
in Cozumel, Mexico
Last spring break my friends and I went on a cruise. The boat was named
the Norwegian Sea and was over 11 stories high. We left from Miami, Florida,
leaving some pretty bad weather behind (or so we hoped). Our trip was scheduled
to take us to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. Cozumel was the highlight of the trip!
I had never been out of the country before.
One of the natives, Drew and I on the beach of Cozumel.
Cozumel was the perfect Spring Break hotspot!! We had absolutely the most
beautiful weather. There was not a cloud in the sky. On our day in Cozumel,
we could either explore the city by ourselves or take a day excursion. We
decided to take a day excursion on a snorkeling and beach party trip. With
doing that we still had enough time to hit up some of Cozumel's hot spots.
Our Mexican trip would not have been complete without exploring the shops
and tasting some tequila. One shot and one jumbo margarita, I was good to go!!

The island of Cozumel was awesome. I have never seen such blue or crystal
clear water in my life. You could see straight to the bottom no mater how
deep the water was. We lucked out with the weather. There was not a cloud
in the sky, unlike overcast Key West. It seemed like everyday was a day
to be outside and a beach going day. Cozumel is a place I would like to
retire to. And not have a care in the world as long as I had a margarita
in my hand.
An awesome picture of the Gulf of Mexico.
