When I moved away from home and started my new life at the University of Florida, I took part in Panhellenic Recruitment. After a long week, I joined Alpha Delta Pi. For the past four years, this place has turned into my home away from home. I have met life long friends, who I know I will keep in touch with throughout the years. Due to my involvement, I have become incredibily involved on campus.
After seeing what it meant to be Greek, I wanted to help others when they were at the point of trying to decide what to do. Last year, I was the Membership Vice President of the Panhellenic Council. I worked for a year making sure that fall recruitment would be a success. It was a tough but rewarding job, especially on the last day when women accepted bids to the 15 chapters. I also helped with the colonization of the 16th chapter, Delta Zeta. Working with all the women of Panhellenic has made me a more well-rounded person.
