Every Celtic wedding should have Celtic music. And live music is even better. Torrey Ferrell, seen second from the left, is a friend of Vanessa. He has a couple of albums that feature a soft acoustic guitar style. Stephanie Anger, left and also a friend of Vanessa, played flute on one of his albums and joined him in our ceremony. They played before and after the ceremony and during the processional.
Nicholas and Lawana Gray are longtime friends that went to college with us. Lawana is a music major. Nick is a songwriter. He wrote a song in Gealic, an old Celtic language, just for the ceremony. He and his wife recorded the song for us and gave it to us with a plaque that had the English and Gaelic words. They also sang it during the ceremony.
