Settled by the Spanish in the 1500's, St. Augustine is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the United States. As you can imagine, the city is rich with history. It's easy to miss significant sites in St. Augustine, so I would recommend taking a guided tour. Carriage tours are very charming. The city is brimming with bed and breakfasts. They're really the best places to stay. You can find information and rates at BBOnline-St. Augustine. If you're into the beach, you only need to cross the Bridge of Lions, and you're there. There are hotels at the beach, but my experience with them has not been good. You can find more information on events in the city at the St. Augustine Record site.

| No, we're not actually a bed and breakfast. If you've stumbled on this site accidentally, and you're looking for a bed and breakfast in Florida, see Bed and Breakfast Inns Online. |
