• Best Stadium

Texas Stadium of the Dallas Cowboys (Football, December 1994) - Although it is a very subjective selection, this stadium was like a sacred place to me. There is a huge hole in its roof because God wants to see the Cowboys football games. Back to Top

• Best Game

The decisive Game 6 of the Korean Series (Baseball, October 1982)
- I was lucky enough to see the final game of the first Korean series in the history of Korean professional baseball. The Bears (my favorite Korean baseball team) won the game with a game-ending grand slam.

• Best Moment

Closing ceremony of 1988 Seoul Olympics (Olympics, September 1988)
- At this moment, each spectator was asked to wave a special light that was given at the entrance. Although I could not see what it looked like in the air, it was really meaningful for me to actively participate in the ceremony.

Florida vs. South Carolina (Football, November 2000)
- Yes, it was free! I was so proud of being a student at the University of Florida.

Tokyo Dome (Baseball, August 1996)
- It was my first time to eat "Sushi" in a baseball park.

• Worst Stadium

Candlestick Park of the San Francisco Giants (Baseball, July 1990)
- There are two things I don't like about stadium. One is artificial turf, and the other is a dual-purpose stadium for baseball and football. Candlestick Park had one of them because this stadium was used as home for both Giants (baseball) and 49ers (football).

Florida vs. Vanderbilt (Basketball, January 2001)
- The Gators were winning for the first 39 minutes and 28 seconds. However, they lost in the last 32 seconds.

• Worst Moment

Houston Rockets vs. San Antonio Spurs (Basketball, October 1993)
- I had waited several months and paid a considerable amount of money to see the fantastic match-up between Hakeem Olajuwon and David Robinson. However, I found out that both players were on the injured list when I arrived at the stadium.

• Worst Road Trip

Dallas Cowboys vs. Cleveland Browns (Football, December 1994)
- I drove alone for about 4 hours from Austin to Dallas. I saw the Cowboys lose to the Browns in the final minute. I was dead-locked in the parking lot for more than an hour. Finally, I got a speeding ticket on my way home. Nonetheless, I was happy to visit the Texas Stadium!

• Worst Game-Day Atmosphere

New York Mets vs. Atlanta Braves (Baseball, July 2000) - It was the first game between the two teams at Shea Stadium since John Rocker had insulted New Yorkers. It looked like there were more policemen and security guards than fans. Back to Top
