In 2005, I took a trip to Europe and fell in love with Italy and especially Venice. While I was in Venice I ran into a friend from my fraternity my first night in the city. My second night in the city I met a Congressman from New York and we went on a gondolla ride with him and his wife.
Who wouldn't love this place? And not just for the beer.
Visiting Central Europe in 2005
In 2005 I traveled to Rome, Venice, Frankfurt, Prague, Vienna, and Budapest. I am part Hungarian and Czech, so going to the Czech Republic and Hungary was amazing. As a history major I was also impressed by the history and architecture of Europe and the incredible churches.
Here I am looking over the river between Buda and Pest in Hungary. You can see the Hungarian Parliament building in the background. I was only able to spend a day in Budapest and Hungary, but I saw some amazing architecture.
France - Hot Damn!
This summer I will be going with UF's School of Journalism and Communication to France in May. We will be going to Paris, Bordeaux, and Lyon. It will be my first time in France, and we are going on a weekend trip to London as well.
I am really excited and can't wait for the semester to be over so I can go.
