As a PhD student, I do a lot of reading but I also like to watch TV, play XBox, and I have an addiction to Facebook. I think half of my family is on Facebook now, so it gives me a chance to keep up with them on a regular basis since I am so far from home. Also, a couple of bottles of wine and a movie is nice too.
I am hoping that I will soon get a chance to go wall climbing at Lake Wauburg, try paint ball, learn how to swim, and ride a scooter a few more times.Other than that my research keeps me pretty busy.
Right now I am working on five research articles. It doesn't leave a lot of time for socializing, but they don't exactly give away PhDs.
