Q. Why do you even have this Web site?
A. It started out as an assignment for a class, but I gradually came
to see it as something fun to do. I originally just wanted a grade
out of it, but now I realize it can keep people (especially friends
and family) informed about me.
Q. Why should I care?
A. Well, that depends on who you are. If you're a friend or
relative, you should care because the site keeps you up to date with
things in my life. If you're my professor, you care because you're
grading this site. And if you're just a casual browser, well, then
maybe you'd like to find out stuff about me or my writing.
Q. Why do you like sportswriting?
A. I love the competiton of sports, I grew up watching all the
Miami teams, and I could never see myself doing math for a living.
After realizing that I knew the names of the sports columnists
in The Miami Herald, I thought I could do that, too.
Q. What are your favorite sports teams?
A. Depends on the sport. For football, it's the Miami Dolphins
and the Denver Broncos. For baseball, I'll take the Marlins.
Hockey is easy. I love the Detroit Red Wings and the Philadelphia
Flyers. And in basketball, the Miami Heat. College team should be
obvious--it's the Texas Christian Horned Frogs.
