Founder and president, Newsies: the voice of the underclassmen; a University of Florida student organization that targets underclassmen journalism majors. The goal is to create an online magazine, www.UFNewsies.com, for all underclassmen at the University of Florida. It allows journalism majors to meet, write, critique, and learn more about their field of study.
Religious school newspaper, The Little Light, is a bimonthly newspaper written by and for the students of the Temple Beth Orr Religious School with a readership of 700 families. August 2001- May 2005 Founder and editor in chief. May 2005 to present Layout editor; works with a staff of ten students from grades four to nine.
Journalism class: August 2002- June 2004 Campus news editor; layout and edit page(s), format pictures, and write articles. August 2004- May 2005 General desk editor: Desk manager and News desk editor; Desk manager oversees the news, features, and sports desks, while acting as a liaison to the editor, and News desk editor manages campus news, student achievements, world news, and soapbox.
