You have reached the web creation of Raina Strampello. I have designed this website for a communications class at the University of Florida in 2003. My professor likes to say that websites have three real purposes. Well, one, I'm not trying to sell anything and, two, I hope that I'm not stroking my ego too much. I'm actually trying for the final purpose, to give you some information about myself and things that have inspired me. What an awesome sunset! One of the best pictures I ever took... It's of a warm December evening at Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, Florida, where I used to live. It is one of my favorite places, where I spent much theraputic, sublime, peaceful time. Soon after taking this picture, a pod of beautiful dolphins appeared very close to shore...such mysterious, friendly creatures. |
The picture on the right is my school picture from first grade at Sanders Elementary School located north of Tampa, Florida. I lived there for about 10 years before moving to Sarasota. I enjoyed the warm water, breezy beaches and comfort of Sarasota living for nine years. In 1999 I moved to Gainesville, Florida to complete my degree at the University of Florida. I must admit that there is something special, something spiritual about Gainesville. I have grown so much and encountered enchanting people. I hope that I can stay for a while.
