What first grabbed my attention about Northwestern University was the prestige of its journalism program. I first considered the school for graduate studies, but when the idea of law school entered my mind Northwestern still remained. Northwestern has a law program geared specifically at media and intellectual property law. The program fits exactly what I am looking for in a school. Furthermore, Northwestern is ranked on the top tier of law schools placing it among the likes of Harvard, Princeton and Yale. Northwestern is located in Chicago, which provides many job opportunities of a big city. The diversity of experienced faculty creates a learning venue that challenges students in the complex legal world.
