M
y mother is a flight
attendant (hi, mom!) and my
father is a real estate broker
(hola popi), and my brother
is...well, I love my brother.
I can honestly say that I can
depend on my family for
anything. Both of my parents
have supported me through
everything I've done,
especially sports in high
school and my decision to go
to the Naval Academy
(although they could have done
a better job talking me out
of spending a semester at Army). I couldn't ask for more loving parents, and it makes my day when they say that I've made them proud.
I
can honestly say that I
never missed my brother until
he went away to college.
Whenever we are home together,
though, we're 12 years old
again and I remember why I
didn't miss him: he's
obnoxious with his
remote-control power trips!
I can't say I don't miss
sharing a room with him,
though. I've never had a
better sparring partner. -Mac

M
y name is Danielle, and I'm a
bad pet owner. OK, so it
wasn't until I started this
website that I realized that
I have absolutely no pictures
of my pets here with me in
Gainesville! I really do miss
them a lot and that whole
picture thing will change.
But I did take this picture
of my new turtles, Jose and
Gator. I've also got my
poodle Little Miss Fifi of
Paris, my Yorkshire terrier
Hercules and my cat Tiger at
home along with Mac's
two mutts Yoda and Honey.
They've yet to meet the guys
(aka my turtles), I hope
they don't try to eat 'em!
And, yes, I know that I have
pets on my family page!
They are family, ask Dad.
Although I must admit he takes
it a little far. He'd
probably trade me in for Fifi
any day. Hehe.

M
ac & I are looking forward to
becoming our own little family
, meaning actually living in
the same state again!
And we would love to make some
additions some day. He's
going to make a great dad.
But we plan to give ourselves
some alone time first. Until
then we'll have each other.
And believe me, that's no
constellation prize!
