Late afternoon we were driving around the neighborhoods and discovered this park. The Rose Gardens are amazing. Even though I am not usually a fan of roses, the neat lines of roses in every color imaginable was a beautiful sight. They smelled wonderful as well. Although parking is horrible (we drove around for 30 minutes looking for a spot), it is a nice spot to check out. The Japanese Garden is also next door.

Not only are the roses a sight to see, the gardens also feature a grassy amphitheatre. Locals use the area to lounge around and sun when a concert is not going on. The views from the amphitheatre are clear and unobstructed. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the weather.
