I arrived in London on Saturday March 31, 2001 and stayed until April 10. It was a last minute decision and I only bought the ticket the day before I left. I really got a handle on the whole spontaneous-trip taking thing!
I stayed with a friend in South London, Balham, and really made the most of my tube pass. Mind the gap!
I decided that since I was so close to Scotland and had always wanted to see Edinburgh I'd take a quick trip over there.
I traveled alone this time. I proved to myself that I could travel alone, but firmly decided that a
travel buddy makes things much nicer!
