Fishing Adventures

Fishing is one of my favorite things to do. Though I prefer saltwater fishing over freshwater fishing, I do them both very often. There is nothing like being out on the open water with a fishing pole in hand and no worries at all.

25 lb Tarpon caught in Tampa Bay Blacktip Shark 8 lb largemouth bass
I caught this 25 lb tarpon in Tampa Bay in January of 1998. I was using 10 lb line, which resulted in a very good fight. Don't let the t-shirt fool you, it was cold that day! This black tip shark was landed in Apollo Beach last summer, where I do a lot of my fishing. Though this guy was small, I am sure his parents were lurking around somewhere. I actually ran about two hundred yards back to my house to get a picture if this 8 lb lunker bass. Don't worry, I got him back in the water just fine.
