Equipment

The following is a list of equipment used in taking macro photographs. Not all of it is neccessary. Some of it is very expensive, all that is really neccessary is a camera and a lens, but these are gadgets and accessories that may help, if not they are just cool.

• Camera...SLR or medium format.Autofocus or manual, (auto is much easier and it allows complete control like the manuial)
• Lens...Macro lenses allow for a much larger range of focus making it possible to be very close to your subject.
• Tripod...Hands are shaky, enough said.
• Extension tubes...increase focal distance for close-up focusing.
• Eyes...DUH!
