No problem, Jane. Here is a list of little secrets and tricks I have learned about Gainesville and the University of Florida:

You can only get authentic Slurpees at one place in Gainesville--a little purple convenience store behind The Swamp Restaurant.

You can take one class S/U (pass/fail) per semester. Which means, you get one class you can slack off in every semester, because you don't really have to do any work in a class to make a C.

If you are a business major, if you take one additional economic class you have a minor in economics without putting forth any major amount of effort.

There are tons of parking places on campus that you don't need a decal for and you won't get ticketed in. There are spaces behind Weimer Hall, off Stadium Road, and behind the Florida Gym by the ticket booths. Additional spaces can be located by the service drive next to Turlington Hall across from Leigh Hall.
